Filming Blog(B)

Hello, Kayla here. This is part b/2 of my filling blog. So, the first thing I did was go over our already filmed clips/ shots/ takes. So on Friday, we did not get the opportunity to shoot out the first tale. So that's what I did today. That shot really just consisted of me walking into the setting for the film. So I walk into the camera view snd towards the desk. It's kinda what our first shot was last week but because of other's filming, we couldn't get that shot so that's what was done in terms of wrapping up filming. The filming was done on my phone actually so after that was done I spoke with my partner and we decided to start editing right then and there. I started to cut the videos and combine the shots so that they could all come together. A problem aroused when I tried to edit two shots actually because that was supposed to be a split-screen. The issue was that I have no idea how to split-screen using my phone. I collected all of the videos...the final video's for each take and sent them to my partner Ariel so that we could edit. My phone was actually supposed to edit the film because it can actually do all the things that we needed except for the split screen. The reason for that as I stated before was because I did not know how to actually go about split-screen on my phone. I tried to look up how to split screen on my phone seeing as I've never actually tried to do that before with my phone but the signal was weak so I couldn't exactly get/find a video. So, my partner and I had a conversation and decided to just save the editing until we get home. I untimely ended up just sending the clips to Ariel via email. After that, I started visuall\izing how the commercial would come out seeing as we now had all the parts. I also ended up adding up some parts and doing so quick cutting so that I could see if we were still in the correct time frame for the commercial.
