Group Intro

      Hello, this is Kayla. This post will be about why I chose Ariel as my partner for this project. We have worked on the previous class project together( the film terms project). She is a very reliable person. Not to mention someone you can depend on to get their work done and done efficiently. She has an amazing work ethic that is very admirable.

     She is very artistic and has a deep love for art. I feel like our love for art would really help us with coming up with the visuals for our commercial but our project overall. Her drawing skills that I discovered she had when she was sketching after she completed an assignment are amazing. Her artistic ability in my opinion is remarkable. 

      Overall, I would say that we work well together and she's a great partner. I do believe that we work well together and she challenges me in a good way.

Spiderman Convention Blog

Movie: Spiderman(2002, starring Tobey Maguire)  Camera Movements and Angles  There are often close-ups on facial expressions and tracking shots to show characters moving throughout the scene. Establishing shots are combined with pans to emphasize said movement throughout the scene. Zooms in to show important objects getting closer, which create anticipation. Medium shots and medium close ups put focus on the characters whenever needed and extreme close ups used to show dramatic facial expressions.  Mis-En-Scene Costumes  Characters are either high schoolers, scientists, or military officials and dressed accordingly. Respectively, casual clothes, button-downs and lab coats, and green suits with various medallions.  Lighting Realistic and matches the scene. Production Blog- Editing

Hello, Kayla here. Today my group and I finally sat down and edited the entire video. We managed to be able to do it, but it wasn't easy; we ran into some difficulties along the way. The editing platform my partner Ariel planned to use kept freezing after about 5 minutes of use. This wouldn't work out for the project so she had to go search for a new editing platform. So, today we started off conversing about how we are planning to finish off the project. Then after a conversation between Ariel and myself while reviewing a video I decided to edit it. So, as I looked at the video I noted what she was talking me about. She had mentioned that there was this part in which one of the clips she was trying to add had a cut. Said cut thew off the whole video so we were trying to find a way to make it seem natural. It took a while but then I noted that there was a mistake made.
