Production Blog: Final Props

Hello, Kayla here. This blog will be about the final props that my group and I will be using to shoot this film. In the previous blog I mentioned the first few props that I gathered. Those being the fake blood I had purchased along with the fake BB gun. Those are still apart of the props that we will be using. I spoke to my groupmate Hervis about bring along some additional white shirts. I said white shirts specifically because I think that I would work best with the fake blood. I'm not exactly sure if the color of the item would change how the blood would appear. This is my first time e using fake blood first-hand myself. I just think that a white shirt would be our safest option. I also have a gopro 9 for filming. Although I am in the midst of getting an actual camera. That camera being a Canon EOS 90D. That process is almost complete. I also have a tripod. I do believe that tripod will be am additional due to the fact that the camera I am are ordering appears to come with everything needed for the film including its own tripod. So, I will have to see how that goes. I will most likely be sending tbe gopro and tripod that was ordered to go with it back. I also arranged for how we will get the illusion of a police officer being in the opening scene there. I am still trying to figure out if the shoots that will be captured in that particular scene would need heavy editing. I will go watch a few videos on that particular topic to see. But it looks as if that will be something that will be decided on as we progress.
